The 4 Types of Rejuran: Healer, HB Plus, I and S Compared

"What is the difference between Healer and HB Plus?" "Do I need Rejuran I for the eyes?" The four products share a name but differ in concentration, texture and the area they suit. Here is how we explain them, including pain and how long the bumps last.
What they have in common: all four use polynucleotides (PN) derived from salmon DNA as the core ingredient. PN supports the skin's own repair process. Each product changes the concentration, viscosity and added ingredients to fit a different area.
1. Rejuran Healer: the original
Rejuran Healer is the basic formula, with PN as its main ingredient. It can be injected evenly across the whole face and is the reference product when the goal is overall skin quality: texture, elasticity, inner dryness and fine lines.
Because it is viscous, injection stings more than the other types, and the small raised bumps at injection points can last 3–5 days. Plan your schedule with that in mind.
2. Rejuran HB Plus: less pain, more hydration
HB Plus was developed to reduce the discomfort of Healer. It combines PN with hyaluronic acid and lidocaine, so injection is usually less uncomfortable and there is an added hydration and glow effect. Its composition differs from Healer; see each product's official specifications.
It suits patients who want repair plus a hydrated, dewy finish, and those who have hesitated because of pain. With its lower viscosity the bumps usually settle in 1–3 days.
3. Rejuran I: for the thin eye area
Rejuran I is a low-viscosity formula designed for the skin around the eyes, the thinnest on the face. A thick product there causes bruising and long-lasting bumps, so I has its viscosity adjusted for the eye area. It is chosen for crow's feet, dark circles and dullness under the eyes, and loss of elasticity at the eye corners.
4. Rejuran S: for scars
Rejuran S is the thickest formula, made for depressed acne scars and other indented marks. Its firmer texture stays where it is placed, so the doctor can target scar tissue precisely. It is usually combined with a scar treatment such as fractional laser for the best result.
